ISKKU Law Program Visits Leading Chinese Law Firm to Gains Insights on Chinese Legal Systems in Knowledge Exchange
KUNMING, CHINA – August 12, 2025
A delegation of administrators, faculty, and students from the Master of Laws program at Khon Kaen University's Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies conducted a study visit to Yunnan Qinye Law Firm, a leading legal practice in Kunming, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China. The visit aimed to enhance their understanding of the Chinese legal system and pave the way for international academic collaboration.
The delegation received a warm welcome from Mr. Jinqin Yang, Director of Yunnan Qinye Law Firm, who led a team of legal experts in a series of engaging knowledge-exchange sessions.
A key highlight of the visit was a series of special lectures and discussions, which facilitated a valuable exchange of legal expertise between Chinese and Thai professionals. The featured topics included:

📍Overview of the Justice System in Thailand —Dr. Bandit Khwayota, a lecturer from the Master of Laws program.
Executives from both parties discussed strategies for legal personnel development to support business expansion between the two countries. Additionally, they explored cooperation on faculty and student exchanges at both undergraduate and graduate levels, aiming to develop curricula that comprehensively respond to the evolving economic, trade, investment, and social landscape.
