Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, KKU Joins Nong Khai Provincial Education Office to Drive Educational Policies and Workforce Development for the Digital Era

On July 9, 2026, the Research Advisory Committee of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University—led by Associate Professor Dr. Wanlapa Wongseelashote, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, alongside Assistant Professor Dr. Sittichai Sonsuphee, Head of the Department of Liberal Arts and Education, and Lecturer Butsayarat Nitideechaiwarachoke—attended the Driving Research Working Group Meeting at the meeting room of the Nong Khai Provincial Education Office, Mueang District, Nong Khai Province, with Mr. Wirot Tortit, the Nong Khai Provincial Education Officer, presiding over the meeting. Organized by the Policy and Planning Group of the Nong Khai Provincial Education Office, the meeting aimed to collaboratively drive research forward on two key issues, namely "Policy Proposals for Managing the Education of Underprivileged Children in Nong Khai Province" and "Strategies for Producing and Developing Human Resources to Meet Labor Market Demands Towards Digital Era Careers in Nong Khai Province," with the objective of driving area-based educational management under the responsibility of the Regional Education Office 10 to effectively address and resolve local needs, while tangibly linking research findings with educational policies, provincial cluster development plans, provincial development plans, and provincial educational development plans for sustainable development.
