Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, KKU, Organizes Dormitory Relationship-Building Project to Foster Unity and Promote Harmonious Communal Living

The Student Dormitory Committee of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, organized the "Dormitory Relationship-Building and Development Project for Academic Year 2026" at the Central Cafeteria (Complex) of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, on August 8, 2026. The project aimed to provide students with an opportunity to strengthen their relationships, develop skills in adapting to new environments, and establish a foundation for creative and orderly communal living.

The atmosphere of the event centered on group relationship-building activities that emphasized safety and were free from violence. Students collaborated in cleaning the dormitory areas and jointly decorated the central kitchen spaces of each dormitory. In addition to improving the atmosphere and environment within the residential areas—making them cleaner and more pleasant to live in—this also served as an important process for developing social skills, teamwork, and fostering good relationships among fellow students, as well as between senior and junior students.

Furthermore, the activity served as a medium for building understanding of dormitory regulations, general guidelines, and disciplinary rules governing student conduct, while also providing students with the opportunity to participate in establishing rules and guidelines for the shared use of the central kitchen. This activity therefore not only helped strengthen life skills and mental well-being, but also promoted unity and mutual respect for one another's rights—ultimately leading to a complete and happy communal living experience within the student dormitories.
