Business Administration Program, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Organizes Alumni-Student Relations and Quality Development Project, Phase 2: Strengthening Networks and Gathering Feedback for Curriculum Development.

On August 16, 2026 (2569 B.E.), the Business Administration Program, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University organized the "Alumni-Student Relations and Quality Development Project, Phase 2" at the Innovation Park Room, Learning and Practice Building 2. The event was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Ratthakan Buasri, Head of the Business Administration Program, together with faculty members, current students, and alumni who participated in an intimate exchange of opinions and experiences.

The project aimed to build relationships and networks among current students, graduates/alumni, and the various fields of study within the Business Administration Program. It also provided a platform for gathering feedback and suggestions from stakeholders, with the information collected to be used for evaluating and improving teaching and learning management, as well as updating the curriculum to remain modern and responsive to the needs of both students and the labor market.

The activity focused on gathering Stakeholder Feedback from current students and alumni, which serves as a key mechanism for quality assurance and continuous educational improvement. Feedback from current students reflects satisfaction levels, the learning environment, well-being during studies, and various problems or obstacles encountered while studying. Meanwhile, alumni feedback reflects the appropriateness of the knowledge, skills, and competencies gained from the curriculum, as well as their practical application in real work settings.

During the event, alumni shared their experiences—both from their student years, covering academics and participation in student activities, as well as their post-graduation experiences—while exchanging perspectives on applying course knowledge to entrepreneurship and various career paths in both the private sector and government service.

Additionally, participants discussed the importance of extracurricular activities during university life and their impact on future careers, including teamwork skills, communication, problem-solving, time management, responsibility, and adaptability—all essential skills that enhance professional potential beyond academic knowledge.

Alumni also shared insights on life and career planning after graduation, helping current students prepare themselves while still studying. This included developing necessary skills, discovering personal strengths and interests, preparing to enter the labor market, and considering diverse career paths—whether working in the private business sector, starting one's own business, or pursuing government service.

The information and recommendations gathered from this activity will play a significant role in analyzing and developing the Business Administration Program's curriculum to better respond to real-world work contexts and evolving labor market changes. It will also help improve teaching and learning approaches to be more engaging, enrich the learning experience, and foster student well-being.

At the same time, the project served as a platform for building and strengthening relationships among alumni, current students, and faculty members, fostering a strong network capable of exchanging experiences, providing guidance, recommending career paths and opportunities, and offering mutual support between senior and junior members. This forms an important foundation for building sustainable relationships among alumni, current students, the Business Administration Program, and the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies in the future.
