ISKKU Visits Mediage and MOALifeplus to Explore University–Industry Collaboration in Digital Health and Health Innovation

On 24 August 2026, a delegation from the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University (ISKKU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Suntaree Buchitchon, Dean, visited Mediage Co., Ltd. and MOALifeplus Co., Ltd. in the Republic of Korea, where they were welcomed by Mr. Ryan HS Jang, Chief Technology Officer, and Ms. Yun Jin Choi, Senior Researcher. The visit aimed to exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for university–industry collaboration. The main objective of the visit was to learn about the development and application of digital technologies and to explore potential collaboration in research, curriculum development, human resource development and university–industry engagement. During the visit, the delegation exchanged knowledge on biotechnology and approaches to applying technology platforms to enhance healthcare services and improve quality of life. The discussions also explored potential future collaboration through joint seminars and academic activities, collaborative research and development, student learning and internship opportunities, pilot applications of platforms or technologies in real-world settings, and the development of an AI-enabled Living Lab involving students, researchers, industry partners and real users. The visit represents another step in expanding ISKKU’s industry network in the Republic of Korea and creating opportunities to integrate industrial knowledge and technological expertise into education, research and student development.
