Another Source of Pride for KKU: Sports Science Alumnus Contributes to Making History for Thai Women's Volleyball.

The College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, would like to extend its congratulations and appreciation to Mr. Naruebet Sakhanphop, an alumnus of the 7th cohort of the Sports Science, Innovation and Health program, College of Interdisciplinary Studies, for being one of the key personnel behind the success of the Thailand Women's National Volleyball Team. Serving as a member of the Sports Science and Physical Rehabilitation team for the Thailand Women's National Volleyball Team, he contributed to the team's achievement in winning the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship for the 4th time and making history by securing a ticket to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA.

Behind the success of athletes on the court, beyond training, techniques, and competitive tactics, sports science and physical rehabilitation are essential components in preparing athletes—covering physical condition management, fitness enhancement, recovery from training and competition, as well as supporting athletes to maintain their potential and readiness throughout competitions.

The opportunity for Mr. Naruebet Sakhanphop to apply his knowledge and experience in sports science while working with the Thailand Women's National Volleyball Team represents another source of pride for the Sports Science program at Khon Kaen University. It exemplifies how alumni can take the knowledge gained from their university education and apply it at the national team level, contributing to a historic achievement in Thai sports.
