May 29–30, 2026, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University proudly made its mark on the international academic stage. Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nipaporn Taweejun from the Applied Science program, alongside co-researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patareeya Lasunon from the Technology and Engineering program, the research team successfully presented their outstanding work and secured a top award at The 5th International Conference on Educational System Management Leadership (ICESML 2026).

The prestigious conference was organized under the theme “Building Global Education Futures through Intercultural Leadership” at the Duangduen Phisanbut Conference Room, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. Aimed at driving the future of global education through cross-cultural leadership, the event drew an overwhelming crowd of over 300 participants. Attendees included high-ranking executives, esteemed experts, faculty members, scholars, students, teachers, school administrators, and educational representatives from both Thailand and abroad.

The highlight of the event for KKU was the remarkable presentation by the research team titled, "Evidence from Learning Analytics in the Plant Bioactive Extraction Practical Science Online Course." Highly responsive to the demands of digital-age educational models, and coupled with an engaging and highly effective communication style, the project successfully captured the "Best Poster Presentation" award.
